Our Story

TriStar Oilfield Services Limited was established in 1988 to provide engineering, consulting and supervisory services to the UK domestic, and the international oil and gas industry. The company operated initially from offices in the town of Dundee, Scotland, but due to the growth of the company, moved into purpose built premises in Wester Gourdie Industrial Estate in Dundee.

Following the market survey, in early 2000 and in order to expand in the middle east & Africa regions, TriStar established a regional office in Cairo, Egypt. This office was officially registered in Egypt under the name “TriStar Middle East”.

In 2012 and to meet the growing demand for training in the Gulf region, TriStar Gulf for Training Technical & Management LLC was established as a UAE based company registered in Abu Dhabi and licensed by Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET).

All of our technical training instructors are highly qualified practitioners who are selected for their experience in the respective fields.

With their world-class experience, exceptional credentials and cross-industry experience, our technical / non-technical training instructors are able to deliver positive results that contribute significantly to the progress and professional development of our clients.

All of our trainers are multilingual (Arabic & English) having Bachelor University Degree as a minimum qualification in addition to the required certifications in their respective field of expertise. Our trainers have a minimum of 5 years of training experience and 10 years of working experience

TriStar provides various type of training such as:

Long Term Programs (Nationalization Programs):

Designed based on the competencies and skills requirement as set by the client for their new and existing staff. Training programs are tailored to accommodate all levels (technicians & engineers) at different disciplines (mechanical, electrical, instrument, process, etc.). The aim of this programs is to have qualified staff, well trained and competent to run the company’s operations including its production facilities efficiently to accommodate manpower shortage or replace retired staff. Programs include HSE, introduction to the oil & gas industry, main discipline courses, operational and maintenance training programs, workshop Training and On-the- Job Training.

Short Term Programs (all Disciplines courses):

Designed for new and existing staff to introduce new technology and operational methods as well as refreshing / Capability Enhancement courses i.e. HSE, Production Operations, Maintenance Technology, Production Technology, Engineering, Geology & Geophysics, Drilling Techniques Finance & Accounting, Administration, Management, Soft Skills, and Security.
